I got my Kirsten doll a month ago and I am not sure if I am pronouncing her name right. Sometimes I call her K "er" sten and sometimes K "ear" sten. Does anyone know the official way to pronounce her name? If not, what do you call your Kirsten?

Yea, I believe it's K-ear-sten. However I was in the first grade when I got my Kirsten and pronounced it K-er-sten, so it'll always be "er" for me

I had a roomie in college who was a K-ear-stin. Looked like a modern short haired copy of her too.

Thanks for the advice. I have been calling her K "ear"sten for a while now and I am glad I have not been calling her by the wrong name!

I say K-ear-sten, but I think some people do say it K-er-sten. Like they said tho, I think it's supposed to be K-ear-sten.

I don't speak Swedish but I've asked people who are Swedish and they pronounced it "Shar-sten"! I've heard Swedish Americans call her "Keersten" and AG says it can be said "Keersten" or "Kuursten."
