Welcome to the board! Don't know if it makes you happy or not, but Elizabeth is the doll I've heard of recently that has CONSISTENTLY said American Girl LLC. My Nellie and Kit (bought right at the end of June) both say Pleasant Company, but as the molds wear out, they're being replaced with ones that say American Girl LLC.

Welcome to the Board! I bought my lovely Holly (#5) in April of this year and her neck has Pleasant Comp any on the back; Jess has the other marking & I'd have to check to be sure about the other 2. Curt's website is awesome--definitely advise you to check it out. Also, I've learned more about AG just from reading this board in the past few weeks than I ever thought possible! Cheers! Katie

Welcome to the board! Don't worry, I'm sure in no time you'll know everything there is to know about American Girl! I suggest you read Curt's site first.
And kenshinchan, did you get a new Kit and a Nellie? Or are you referring to your mini dolls?

Kitswift, I got a full-size Nellie at AGPLA. And I bought Kit as per my mom's request, so I don't have Kit in front of me right now, but I do get to visit.

Welcome to the board! I believe all or most of the dolls American Girl makes are now stamped American Girl, instead of Pleasant Company.
