I'd like to add 1986 catalogs to my AG site's Gallery. I don't have any catalogs or cover scans from before 1987.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try looking on eBay? I always look for the classical, older American Girl catalogs on there, and have found some in really good condition. Good luck

Curt, is that REALLY Elizabeth on your AG collection page? (The doll in the beautiful pink dress with blonde hair.) Is that a computer image of what others THINK she might look like? Thanks!

I received the picture from an undisclosed source. It is clear from the photo that it is a picture of an actual doll and not just a photoshop image. The doll's coloration and the fact that the dress exactly matches the dress work by Liz on the cover of her book convinced me that it was a bonefide picture of Liz.

We'll all know whether it is her or not in a week or two, I'm sure.
