My #14 is quite new and for some unknown reason, came with the artist mark as well. I guess the head they used for this one have the artist marks still on it.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Holiday 1995, actually. That's when the AGT line premiered, and as you said, AGT14 has been around the entire time. She was one of the original AGT dolls introduced in 1996. I can see her now in the Holiday 1996 issue.
Yup, you're right about that. I had a 1996 catalog handy and saw it had said New by the AGT dolls but I guess it meant the Meet outfit was new because in 1996 she was wearing the yellow jacket/stripe shirt combo and when she was introduced in 1995 the AGT dolls came in the magenta/denim vest outfit.
My Kenya Leigh is a #14, PM, and she does seem a little different from the above pictures, so I'll try to post some later, when I'm home, for comparison.
I got her at the sale today! Brooke Penelope is in the hotel room with my mom as I'm typing this. She's beautiful, she even has the artist's mark! Does anyone know when AGT 14 was introduced? TIA!
Oh, I am so happy you found your Brooke Penelope!! She was one of the original AGT dolls introduced in 1996. I can see her now in the Holiday 1996 issue. Welcome Brooke!
Wow, I had no idea AGT 14 has been around that long! Do you think it's possible that she could be PM?
