I believe this list would differ a lot in the United States. Interesting pictures of the top 12 Christmas toys in the UK:

No Elmo!

Well, here's Wal-Marts list. Since they are supposedly the top toy seller, it's probably pretty accurate:

My mom has a Tamagotchi angel. And I want the Trivial Pursuit 90's or another 90's game.

I thought the fx dream weaver was pretty cool. Wonder if they have that here?
My almost 9 yr old wants the nintendogs, I guess that is similar to the littest pet shop craze and of course anything AG related, but who can blame her for that one!

Thanks for posting this, that list was really interesting to see. I love Trivial Pursuit, I think I just may have to ask for it for Christmas since it's about "my decade", lol.

Thanks for sharing this. I've always enjoyed these lists and I always like to make my own predictions. It is funny, though, this year all of DD's "Wishes" are AG related! The Toys R Us ad just doesn't seem to have as much thrill as it used to! LOL.

I'm not surprised to see Baby Born so high on the British list. My kids went to a British school when we lived in Saudi Arabia and all of the little girls in my daughter's class either had or wanted Baby Born. Her best friend wanted one until she saw my daughter's Bitty Baby and fell in love. My husband brought one back for her on his next business trip to the US. Her older sister got an AGT 17. They chose their dolls from our catalog and we were able to order online and have them sent to a friend in the US where my husband was able to pick them up.

I know that Bratz are also very popular in the UK and they are quite expensive.
