Ok - we are all ready to downy-dunk! We have shampoo, then downy, then SOAG... the only thing we need is a steamer. Is it possible to just put the iron on steam and hold it far away - is that how you do it? Or is there another way? I haven't been able to find a "steamer" anywhere. They are all metal.

That's a good question. I've also looked but haven't found an all-plastic steamer, other than the one I got online that had a huge crack in it.

Thanks for the advice; I'll probably end up using my flat iron then, or the regular iron.

DON'T touch the hair with the hot metal--it will FRIZZ, if it doesn't MELT the hair!!! An all-plastic steamer is the safest, even if you have to get one off ebay and wait 'til it ships, like I did!

Be CAREFUL, or prasnlrd will have Dollie Protective Services on your doorstep before you can say "restoration album"!
