My PS confirmed Kirsten is not going to be retired. They don't plan on retiring any of the collection dolls any time soon. I also think that if they did plan to retire any of their historical dolls that they would notify their customers first...probably in the catalog. A while ago I also wrote AG a letter (not my PS) and they said they would never retire a historical doll . (they said they would just totally neglect them like they did Felicity...JUST KIDDING! )

Thanks for the information Elle! I was doubting that AG would retire a historical doll especially one of the first AG dolls ever made.

    Oh good!

I thought it would be pretty insensitive of AG to retire one of the original three on the eve of their 20th anniversary! Here's hoping Kirsten will not only not be retired, but that she'll get something extra special to celebrate next year!

I was starting to panic, because Kirsten was my first doll, back when there were only three! Without her, there would be a huge gap in the historical collection! I wouldn't mind if they made her some more stuff though!
