We love the look of the dress...but...The Flower....Can it be removed without hurting the dress? How is it attached? sewn on? My dd and I love the dress but we are of the "less is more" school of design lol and can't do frills + ruffles + flowers, etc. etc. so well. Thanks! Kelli

I was disappointed when I first got Emily's Christmas dress as I didn't care for the fabric at all, HOWEVER I will have to ask my Mom as she was a school girl during that time period. If in fact the fabric is consistent with the period, then I will be much happier. I know I wasn't thrilled with Sam's skating dress as I didn't think that fabric was consistent with the time period. I think that is why the dress went into retirement so soon after coming out.

Thanks for the review! I love purple, and this dress is really cute. I really like it, and I know it looks good on #25, which is who I would use it for. Unless I do actually decide to get Emily sometime....

Yea! I'm so glad to hear a good review of this dress! I wasn't sure about it since I also am a bit of a traditionalist at the holidays (red and green) but our PS is holding this outfit for us until we arrive in Chicago Saturday! I can't wait to see it in person!
