I'm not sure if anyone has shared this before, but I came across it while browsing the net. Enjoy!

That was neat to read! Thanks. I saved it to show my DD. She loves Valerie Tripp & her books (her faves are Kit & Lissie).

Interesting stuff! (Odd that they consistently spell Josefina wrong though. ) But the article explains why Ms. Tripp is so prolific in the AG world, though I'd still like to hear why she wrote the last 3 of Samantha's stories. (And why she completely ignored Nellie in 4-5 and brought her back to be almost the focal character of 6...)
VERY interesting that they say she determines what the doll looks like...and honestly, I'm not sure I believe it. I really doubt that if she wrote any more new characters, that she'd get to outright dictate the appearance (although she might get to influence it).

Thanks for sharing this great article on Valerie Tripp. It's interesting how she immerses herself into the time period she's writing about at the time.

Thanks for the link! I didn't know that the authors ultimately determined what the dolls look like. Too bad this didn't happen with Elizabeth.
