New Idea/Game: Miss Hostboard (SIGN UP INFO ON FIRST POST!)

Right now, if you would like to enter one of your dolls, please forward the following to either me or ElizabethLover101 so we can put it on the website:
Picture of doll
Information - name, age, type/number
Favorite hobbies?
Favorite color?
Favorite outfit?
I would be a good Miss Hostboard because...

My sister and I were having a beauty pageant for the dolls and I was thinking... what if we had a HB-wide pageant, like Miss America, but call it Miss Hostboard instead? We could have one doll represent each username ("state") and have different categories like Historical/Heritage, Today Casual, Gala/Ball, Sunday Best, Holiday, Swimsuits, PJ's, etc. We could set up a website to have members vote on their favorite doll and then pick the "finalists" based on that.
Would anyone be willing to do this? I could set up the poll/website, but do the categories sound ok? I don't know what the specifics should be, like how long before the next round or how many should be "voted off" for each category.

That sounds like a great idea to me! I'd do it! Maybe we could ask one of the mods about it.

Yes asking the mods sounds like a good idea. Do any moderators want to comment/approve the idea?

That sounds like so much fun! ^_^ I don't have too many outfits, so I don't know if I'd have one of my girls compete. But, if it's alright, maybe I could be the Master of Ceremonies/Host?

Sure! You could even have one of your dolls be the host (or a different one for each category?). Do the categories sound OK?

Edit: If we set up a poll on a website, we could have all the members vote for their favorite?

Yea! Cool! Its like we could have 3 judges or something, 2 Mods and Nevtal, or 3 members for judges.. So on..

Hopefully we get approval from a mod! It sounds fun! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Yea! I'm not sure if this was what you were thinking of when you said website, but we get sign up for freewebs.com and make it something like 2006AmericanGirlHostboardPageant.

And when you said maybe one of the dolls from each catagory that are not competing could be a judge, maybe it could be one of the mods dolls so we not that they would be playing fair (since we wouldn't want anyone to just vote for all of their dolls)

I really really really really really INFINEDY really love this idea!!!!

I made a freewebs account for misshostboard. I don't know what to put on it though. I think having the mods and someone who isn't competing be the judge. We could also have an imagestation account where you can leave comments on your favorite doll for that category?
