I like the idea! You could have other catagories like how photogenic they are and hairstyles.

Rachel, if you give me your photobucket page I could put them on the freewebs site. I like your idea of putting them on the profile page.
Do we want to have people vote in a poll too, not just the judges?

I'm just trying to organize all of the ideas that we've come up with so we have a master plan. ^_^ So, here we go!

The 1st Annual Miss Hostboard Pageant (2006)

The competition will be hosted by yours truly (or probably one of my dollies). =) It will also be judged by a panel of three members and/or mods.

Each member can enter one doll into the competition. We'll either have a sticky for the pageant where they can post a headshot and profile or we'll have a freewebs page where we can put that information.

We'll start with the fashion competition. (How's this for an order: Casual, Swimsuit, Pajamas, Sunday Best, Historical, Formal.) Other members vote for their favorites each round. (I guess the number of entrants eliminated each round will be based on how many are in the competition.)

After the fashion round, we have the talent show and interviews. (I guess I and/or the judges can conduct the interviews. ^^)

And we eventually have our Miss Hostboard! Who has the right to display their fantastic-ness in their signature until the next pageant. ^_^

We can even do mini awards like vicky94 suggested. Best Hairstyle, Most Fashionable, Most Photogenic...even Miss Congeniality! (I love that movie.)

If I do get to host it, I might even try to find a little doll-sized crown and make a sash that says Miss Hostboard 2006 to send to the winner. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'm a horrible website designer unless I use a pre-designed layout. [img]redface.gif[/img] So I think it's a good idea for you to design it. ^_^ But thanks! Let me know how I can help, though! I can type up any text we want or look for images, whatever you need.

Maybe we should have a page that tells people how to sign up? And the front page should probably explain it all. I could copy what you've written earlier in the thread.

Yeah, that sounds good. But we should probably wait first for input from a mod and work out how we'll do the judges and the schedule for the competition.
