Ok - So Anne Girl is here. I won her last week for Under $40.00, but she does need some work. I have cleaned her up and she is already looking better.

She was a pm Molly before arriving at her new home. Addy's Work Dress and Kirstens black boots already make a Big improvement

Biggest problem is learning how to Re-Wig her. Her brown hair was chopped so it will be coming off - How do I GET it off and then how do I put a new wig on her. any help would be great.

    Thanks

    Christine

Check this out. I just took the wig off my eBay Kirsten and am ready to put on the new wig I got. This page has been invaluable!

I used those instructions. It's easy to take it off with a spoon. I found that to be the easiest and safest way!

I also use just magic maria's website. I do it a little different, though. I start at the front of her head above her forehead. I gently pull to see if it will come up on it's own. Then I take a large spoon, slightly bigger than a tablespoon, and slide it under the wig and gently lift up. From there it should come off pretty easily. You may be able to just rip it off. If the hair is really long I put it in a ponytail and it may be easier to put the glue on after the wig is placed on the head. I use glue sparingly as it can seep through the wig cap in the hair. I mainly just glue the seams and the egdes of the wig cap. Let me know if you have trouble and I may be able to help you more. BTW, rewigging is so much fun and addicting!

    Exclamation

Is there a special kind of glue I want to use to apply a new wig?

I use Aileen's Tacky glue. I like the idea that I can rip the old wig off if I want to change it again.

    Question

Will gorilla glue work? lol, it's probably the best thing I have.
