Sorry. Unfortunately no. I would not. If it were for my DD, I would buy her a new doll.

    However, she does look good.

I'd wait until tomorrow to bid - about 10 seconds before the auction ends - but that's me. I'm currently ticked off because a couple of morons keep bidding against each other on a set I want, uping the price tremendously in the process.

I think that there is a 10% off code that is still good if you order directly online from americangirl.com. That would bring the price of a doll down to less than $80 + S&H ($11?), and she would be in her "real" clothes.

I bought my daugther Kit on ebay, and with the outrageous shipping that my seller charged ($14, I think, for ebay), I really didn't end up saving too much (maybe $20).

The price is good so far, and she looks good, but I also would wait until right before closing and decide the maximum you are willing to pay. I think that an ebay doll for $50 or less, including S&H is a pretty good savings.

Just some more info to consider. I know I didn't give a firm answer either way!

I did buy my DD a new doll ( Nellie) and her clothes but I thought maybe this one would be a good deal , I agree tho that maybe a new doll is better considering I would need her new clothes. But hey I just started with AG and I think I did pretty good picking out this doll

Yes...you did do a good job picking her out.

I think, though, that if you really want your DD to have Samantha, a brand new one would be better. That way, you'd get the meet outfit and the book.

And that 10% off code is a big help.
