The dolls were $30. I went too and really wanted to get a doll, but I really didn't care for the face mold. There were other Gotz dolls there too that were cute, but I restrained myself.

Today was Gotz Doll Day at Tuesday Morning and I hit three of their stores, picking up eight 18" dolls, three brunettes and five blondes. Although they are packaged as Precious Day, their faces look like the Stolle dolls that were sold at CostCo several years back.

I unpacked two of the dolls, a brunette and a blonde. The brunette is going to be kept as is, but the blonde needed new hair. An hour of clipping with a pair of cuticle nippers and her rooted hair was history. She will be getting a very nice red wig to cover up all of the holes in her head.

The rest of the dolls are getting put away for sale later, after all of the sales that are certain to spring up tomorrow and the weeks to come have faded away.

I had the brunette in my buggy and put it back. I am so proud of me. I have spent way too much on AG this month.

The brunette looks OK, but not super great. I have a red wig just sitting on the head of the doll whose head I had shorn last night and she looks waaaaaay better, although she really needs freckles.
