I use perm rods from Sally's Beauty Supply. You can also get papers to make the ends stay. I think the curlers from AG are just perm rods anyway.

Dollar Tree has several different sizes. I've also used the ones from Sally's and Walmart. Just a general sponge roller is what I've had success with.

They used to make a hair styling kit for the dolls at AG...it had curlers and a spray bottle and a cape to put around the dolls. I still have mine. Do they not make those anymore? Or something like it?
Good luck finding what you need!

Oh, yes yes yes! I use the Richard Caruso Molecular Steam curler system from the early 90's! There is no damaging heat, all steam, and it uses foam rollers. It is as fast as a regular curling iron, and the curls last forever!

I just lightly mist hair and use the smallest foam rollers available at Target. They keep Samantha's curls bouncin' and behavin'

I use the old soft rollers from AG to fix up Sam's curls. I haven't figured out the hard ones yet but I have them too.

Foam rollers work the best with a little spritz of water. Leave the curlers in all night. Unwrap the hair in the curlers very carefully. Good luck with the curling!!

I use the old curlers that came with the old Pleasant Company hair care sets that came with the old hair brushes. They dont work too well, but they work enough to actually add some spring to the dolls hair. The work good in Dolls hair like Kirsten or molly, or dolls with the thick wayvy hair. I dont know if they would work in Josephina's or Lissies....ill have to try. You can Usually find these on ebay.

A related question...
If you curl your dolls hair with sponge curlers or any other kindof curler, is it easy to get the hair straight again? Do you just mist it with water and brush to get the curls out?
Just curious...
