Nellie or Emily

I was wondering if any one could help me decide which doll to get Nellie or Emily (when she is out [img]confused.gif[/img] Right now i am leaning toward Nellie because i am into Victorian times but i love Emily's dress.

Well, which other dollies do you have? ^_^ If you have Samantha, than you should definately get Nellie. If you have Molly, than you should definately get Emily. If you have both, than I'd just think about it carefully and pick the one that really calls to you.

I like Nellie better because of her character. She DOES have a different face mold than Emily (and most of the other dolls); that may or may not appeal to you. Nothing against Emily, but I never connected with Molly at all. (Admittedly, I still need to make the effort to check out her stories. [img]redface.gif[/img] )

But it's your choice, and luckily, there is no wrong answer!

I'm no help at all because Emily doesn't "call" to me whatsoever. I plan to buy her meet outfit and accessories by themselves.

I have Nellie and she is darling. I think she's one of the cutest and is very distinctive with her strawberry blonde hair and freckles! So Irish! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I would suggest getting Nellie, especially since you have Samantha.

Nellie is a beautiful doll. I have seen her in person at AGP and I still regret not getting her when I was there. Many other HB'ers have pictures of her in Today clothes & she looks fantastic in the modern wear.

Emily is lovely too but since you've got Samantha, Nellie might be a better choice for you right now.

IMHO, Emily does NOT appeal to me at all. But Nellie is simply adorable! I don't have Samantha, but I knew I had to have Nellie the minute I saw her!

Emily is the one I like! Though I agree that if you have Sam, Nellie's a good choice. Only, I think Nellie is kind of creepy looking. Her hairstyle combined with facemold and coloring just weirds me out for some reason. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
