Yes, if anyone has been there lately, can you give us a run down of what exactly is usually there and might be occassionally there and if its really worth the trip up?
I'd like to know if they have any dolls, historical clothes, furniture, accessories, store exclusives (like the stuff that says Chicago or NY on it), or what?
Well, I guess Im basically clueless and would love more information.
If you went on a trip once every 3 months and could choose to go to the outlet, but must for go the Chicago trip, would you?
Thanks!

The outlet store is a plain little store very unlike AGP Chicago. AGPC is an experience and has beautiful displays, a Cafe, a theatre, etc. I would not skip the Chicago store in lieu of the outlet. The outlet store never has dolls. It has a lot of girl size clothes, discontinued doll clothes and a lot of books. Things are cheaper there - sometimes really cheap. It is hit or miss and a fun place to stop, but I wouldn't drive more than 2 hours out of my way just to go to the store. Still, I love going there every once and awhile and I have about an hour and 15 minute drive which I think is worth it. They have a big warehouse sale in June.

Thank you so much for the info! I guess I'll just have to stick with Chicago unless for some strange reason we are up there anyway...lol!
Thanks again

I took Manda back to school this evening and stopped in-they really didn't have anything new. They have lots of the HSH dolls-just not Logan. They do have some outfits for the historical dolls, but they are ones available through the catalog, and for the same price, so all you save is shipping. (and if you live in a state that AG doesn't charge sales tax, you lose out because Wi has 5% sales tax).
The best time to come is in June for the warehouse sale-otherwise, it's hit and miss. If they got a new shipment in, you might find something good, but it's not worth a long drive on that chance, IMO. If you would be driving close to Oshkosh, that's a different story-then it's always a good stop.

Mary Jo - Thank you so much for the nicely detailed list. I wonder why Kirsten's Work Gown was there. Do you think it is a possible retirement item?

Do they usually have a yearly sale with reduced prices on everything they have? I'm thinking of going in July around the time of the MCM Sale.
