I undressed and re-dressed (in all different outfits)all 15 of my girls a couple of weeks ago, and it took me over THREE HOURS-- --including taking out outfits, deciding who wears what, and hanging up and putting away everything when I was done!

Does it take everyone else this long to dress all YOUR girls?

I have so many dolls that I do mine over a weeks time. I do between 6 and 10 each day.

I only do one or two a day. It does take a lot of time. Usually one will pop into my mind. "Gee, Molly has been wearing that dress for a long time." Like rotating toys in the toy box, it helps keep my collection new.

I only have 3 dolls, so it only takes me maybe 15 minutes?

Well, I have seventeen dollies, and aside from their meet outfits I only have about...five other outfits. O_o So it only takes about a minute or two...

    Just been figuring---

At 3 hours for 15 dolls, that 5 dolls per hour, or about 12 minutes per doll.

The 12 minutes includes deciding what she's going to wear next, undressing her, redressing her in the new outfit complete with shoes and socks for Fall, hanging up the "old" outfit on a hanger, putting away the outfit and storing the "old" shoes and socks, if any.

Come to think of it, 3 hours isn't so bad!

I have never changed all 10 of mine at the same time..lol.. but it would probably take awhile. I usually just pick one or two out and change them and do their hair on my couch while watching tv.

It takes me awhile too, if I do them all at once. I usually do three or four at a time, though.

I don't usually do all mine at once, either--but I had a busy summer, and suddenly realized that they were all still wearing summer clothes when it was high time they were dressed for back-to-school!

So, I took the plunge, and re-dressed them ALL.

But I'm glad I did, even though I didn't know it would take so long to finish. Even DH noticed they were all wearing different outfits!

Guess I'd better start early in October to get them all ready for HALLOWEEN!!

I have two American Girl dolls and I rarely change them both at the same time, so it doesn't take very long. I like to at least brush their hair a little too.
