I really want an Alice in Wonderland style dress for one of my dolls for halloween. Anyone seen one for sale? Do they sell them at Epcot? Any seamstresses out there have a solid blue dress with white pinafore?

I think the official AG dress that comes closest is Samantha?s blue play dress with the white pinafore, but the dress itself is not a solid blue, it has a pattern.
For some reason, Alice dresses for AG seem to be rare. I?ve been keeping an eye out for one on ebay, but saw none offered.
There?s one seller in Asia, however, who does offer a reasonably-priced Mulan and Snow White dress, and since they?ve got a number of other AG dresses from diffferent periods as well, maybe if you ask them they could come up with an Alice dress for you.

I think Ria (Scarlett Slipper) has one from Epcot. It's beautiful! Check out her halloween album. If I'm not mistaken it's in there.

I have one Alice pattern, and a couple fo more that would work. My Costumes Album has one picture (#70) of Alice and she is wearing a blue and and white gingham dress with a whie pinafore. My Patterns Album has a few pictures in there and they are shown the same way.
I would offer to make one for you, but I'm booked with sewing orders until late December.

I've definitely seen some Alice costumes on EBAY in just the last week. try just searching under "American Girl costumes" and see what comes up.
The Engel Puppen store in Epcot's Germany pavilion sells Alice costumes for dolls.

Here is the Engel one that I have from EPCOT.
You can create one of your own too. The Engel ones are a little pricey. $80 each, plus tax. But they are worth every penny. Brietta (Engel) wears it 24/7.

I've got a great solution! (At least if you already own these outfits...) Take Samantha's winter party dress and add the lace pinafore from her birthday dress. It's absolutely perfect!
Here's my Elizabeth wearing it...

The build a bear dresses are too big I was there yesterday. The only one I think could be altered in Mulan's. Just add a tighter belt.
