KayaKacey04, I think your sig is too big...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Your first pic is 210 wide and the second is 152 wide. That adds up to 362 wide. My first example of a good pic size is actually 365 wide. Rias is 320 wide. There is some flexibility in this guideline because it is not always easy to resize pics. I would say that between 320-365 wide is fine as long as the pics are super tall.

I haven't yet figured out how to upload an avatar on this board - can you tell me how?

To clarify, I read the instructions in the original post,I just don't see anywhere in my profile to click, in red or otherwise, to upload a custom avatar.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Click on your profile. The section on uploading avatars is about 4 paragraphs down under the e-mail section. Most of us have uploaded a custom AG avatar either of your own making or one of the ones linked here. The custom avatars must be around 96x96 pixels and in JPEG format to work. Here is what it says on the HB profile page:


Your Avatar:
Choose an avatar for yourself. An avatar is a picture that will be displayed whenever you post or reply, unless the moderator of the message board you visit has decided to turn off the viewing of avatars in their message board. NOTE: If you have uploaded a custom avatar, you must select "Custom" from the avatar list to use it!
Click here to see all available avatars.
Click here to upload a custom avatar.

I click on my profile and there doesn't seem to be a section beneath the inbox part, let alone 4 paragraphs. I took a screenshot to show you what I'm looking at, and maybe you can tell me where to look or if I'm on the wrong page, or something.

You have to click one more time and get past the page with the inbox. When you are on the page with the inbox, in the upper left corner you will see:

View/Update Profile | View Recent Posts


Click on the View/Update Profile link and that will take you to the page where you can change/add an avatar.
