Just had all my check-ups for this year (pap test, mammography, etc.), and I'm "clean"--a good feeling, especially going into Cancer Awareness months!

P.S. DH raised over $1000 for Lymphoma and Leukemia on the "Light the Night" walk last Thursday!!

And I LOVE how all your dolls look so pretty in pink! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

What a sweet picture. I showed it to my mom, who has breast cancer, and she thought it was really cute. Thanks for posting it.

The breast cancer had 2 years to metastasize to the brain with about 20 tumors. The good news is that after many treatments, the cancer has not reappeared in any other part of dd's body.
She is feeling fine while raising her 6 year old son and is in a trial study with new medicine that is suppose to attack the tumors in her brain. Please pray that the new treatment will cross the blood-brain barrier and destroy the cancer.

Pollymarie, you and your family are in my prayers tonight.
My sweet MIL had breast cancer 10 years ago. It has now resurfaced and spread to her bones and lungs, she is 85 yrs old.

Henna1, thank you for the beautiful picture and reminder.

I had it 4 years ago. I retired 2 years early to play with my DGD. Things are fine at the moment. Hope they stay that way.
No history in my family and I am 60.

Hopes and prayers for your family, Polly Marie. I can't imagine having a young son and that problem. Glad things are going well at the moment. Isn't medicine wonderful!
