When should I go to AGP to get Emily?

I've never been to an American Girl Place (I walked right past it when I was in NYC in March [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] ) so I was thinking about going in September sometime just for the day (I live about 3 hours away).

I'm thinking I'll get Emily there- do you think she'll be in stores Sept 1st? Do the new dolls ever sell out temporarily when they are released? I'd hate to go there a week after she is released and not be able to buy her. When should I go so I have a good chance of buying Emily (and all her outfits.. [img]wink.gif[/img] )

Her book is being released on August 21.

She's coming out sometime in September, my guess is September sixth. I say September sixth, because Molly's revised bed is available to pre-order, it will be shipped on September sixth (I assume that means the rest of Emily and Molly's new items will be released then, too).

You may be able to preorder Emily after August 1st. You could call AGNYP and talk to a PS. At AGLAP if we go to the Emily party on August 1st we can preorder the doll. So I am guessing you can preorder after that.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I would go after Labor Day, maybe the week after to make sure Emily is in the stores, and it's not a trip wasted.
