What about a Barbie for AGT? [img]tongue.gif[/img] I was reading HB and listening to the song "Barbie Girl" by Aqua, and it came to me. Personally, I would prefer to have a Midge for my AGT*. She's always been my favorite.

They could be about half the size of a mini doll...Mattel hits two birds with one stone! [img]wink.gif[/img]

*I don't have an AGT yet...still waiting for my ideal combination.

You could use a Kelly doll. That's about the right size. Cute idea!

That's actually a really good idea! Of course, Mattel might be purposely keeping the lines separate; if people see Barbies (which you can get for $5) selling for $20 in miniature form for an American Girl, it might make people think AGs are wicked expensive (or at least that the AG Barbie is drastically overpriced).

What about the Barbies that came in "Happy Meals" I have to ton of them. And Barbie has a new line of Miniature dolls out at TRUS.

I actually have a Barbie-type doll that's appropriately sized for the AGs (well, almost. It wouldn't be barbie proportion if you grow-rayed them, but it would still be fashion-doll sized) that they might end up with. It's really scuzzy and smudged right now, so I'd have to clean it up. My grandmother sent it over with a bunch of other junk, it's probably older than I am.
