I think it would be cool to have a doll that is rewigged!! I really like Cami713's Misty. She is really pretty. Was it hard to freckle, rewig her and put earrings on her?
If I dicide on this I might not get #23 if I decide because the wig might be expensive depending on what kind it is!!

Rewigging is very simple! I don't have any experience with the other stuff though.

Sounds like fun - go for it!

Thanks for the compliments! I wasn't home, or I would have responded to this sooner.

Everything is really, really easy to do!

The wig I bought was actually really, really cheap, I think it was about 8 with shipping. This is the wig I bought. Only, it seems they're out of the carrot ones and only have auburn left. I have an auburn one, too, that I bought for a future project, and it's a very pretty color, if you aren't set on carrot red. If you shop around, you should be able to find a wig you love, for not too much.

Here is a guide showing how to rewig. It looks hard, but it's really easy! Here is another guide showing how to freckle. I thought this was even easier than the wigging. The paint costs about $1 a bottle, and it's really simple to do, and if you don't like it on the first attempt, it's really easy to get off and start all over.

The earrings were also really easy. I used some little silver hoops that I had of my own. They're about 2/3 the size of Addy's and Josefina's, but I think they're the perfect size for a modern 10 year old. I just measured from the bottom of the ear to make sure they were at the same level, before putting them in.

Making a doll your own is really fun, and she's *yours*. I love having a doll that no one else has one like, and it was so fun to create her exactly as I wanted her to be.

I'm no expert, but let me know if you need anymore help.

Well, that's her in my avatar, but here's some bigger pics:

That last one was before I pierced her ears.

Again, it's so much fun to customize a doll the way you want her to look. I wish AG would start doing this, ala My Twinn.

Your freckles look so much more natural than the AG ones! I love them!

I want to do a doll that looks kind of like my sister and this one does IF she had brown eyes!

What color wig was this one????

Thanks!

She really is adorable, Cami! What's her name again? And which doll was she originally? She looks so cute in everything! I really like her in Molly's bathing suit and her hair in braids. So cute!
