Here are some more pictures.

This is the sign on the covered bridge so you get kind of what it is and what is so special about it.

This is inside the bridge.

This is the Bavarian Inn. It is famous for its Chicken. They are a hotel in one part and a restaurant in another. You can't really see the dolls but they are on the steps.

This is the last picture. It is Zender's. They are owned by the same people who own the Bavarian Inn.

Love the pictures - especially the one of the four American Girls on the bridge
Did you have the famous Chicken dinner at the Bavarian Inn already?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It's kind of funny because we go to Frankenmuth all the time and have only had the chicken once and it was actually at Zenders not Bavarian Inn. I think it was the same type of chicken though because both places are owned by the same people.

Neat pictures! I love those old Americana neon-type signs.

But what I really love are covered bridges!! That one in Michigan is really cool!

I love Frankenmuth! It's such a tourist trap, but I have a lot of childhood memories associated with it.
As a child we would drive up there for dinner on special occasions with my grandparents. Later, we would stay at the hotel, which is simply amazing.
And yes, their chicken is really, really, really good.
Barvarian Inn restaurant has some stores in it, and of of them is a really classic toystore. It used to sell doll outfits and custom dolls. I've always thought they would fit AG, but could never afford one as a child. I *believe* they're Engel, but it's been a long time.

I was wondering about the dolls at Frankenmuth, too. I have lived in Michigan my whole life and I havn't been there since I was a kid. Do they still sell them there??
