A ???Real??? American Girl moment???

[AG Crazy in Wyoming]

Today we have the pleasure of having a very sweet little gal stop by for a visit. She is in between pick-ups (passing through our county) and so DD is getting to play with her until social services from another county make it here sometime this evening. I won?t post her picture but you can not believe the size of the smile on this little gals face. She has short blonde hair pulled back with a pink headband, brilliant blue eyes, a spattering of freckles, and a smile a mile wide. She was just a bit shy until she saw the ?girls?. She knows what an American Girl doll is and has waited her whole life (she?s 9) to touch one. She was thrilled when dd asked her to play. She clutched up her favorite -our faux Kirsten (AGOT 3) and hasn?t set her down once. DD has already picked a few outfits she isn?t crazy about, one of her Imagine mags, and her Kirsten book to send along with our new friend; don?t forget all the directions she has given on how to use the wire wig brush [img]wink.gif[/img] . The little gal hasn?t stopped smiling for over three hours. What a fun day we are having.

Thank you for sharing your fun afternoon! That is just so sweet of you to give faux Kirsten, plus outfits, brush, etc. to this little girl in need of a friend right now.

You have probably just brought more joy into this little girl's life that any of us can possibly imagine and just reading your story reminds me to count my blessings, so to speak.

My prayers for a new happier home are going out to this little girl!

Your DD is a very generous girl--please tell her that she is truly showing the "American Girl" spirit today IMHO!
