Thanks! I love the name Jillian and it really fits her perfectly. DH actually came up with the name choice. A couple of years before DD was born, he noticed the name on a name badge of the cashier who was checking us out at an Osh Kosh outlet store. When I was pregnant with DD, I planned to name her Jessica but DH suggested the name Jillian and after a while I agreed. I'm so glad I did! DH is still proud that he came up with the name!

Thanks for the info! I just ordered this. I think this dress is so cute in the photos, and hopefully it is just as cute in person. Does anyone know what type of material it is? Do you need to be really careful with the velco on it?

Yes, you have to be really careful with the velcro. It's a snagger! [img]frown.gif[/img] You also have to be careful with the lace trim on the sleeves and bottom, because it's kind of delicate.

In my opinion, it's not the best dress for a little girl to play with, but it looks amazing on both Samantha and Nellie, and it is truly beautiful and Victorian-looking.

(Edited to Add) It is made of a satin polyester crepe material that's shiny on one side and duller on the other. Really, it is a stunning dress.
