Difference between Mattel AGT's and early AGT's

Is there very much differnce in the faces fo the AGT's Mattel just made and the AGT's from the first 2 years of the line? I am thinking about getting one that I have a Mattel one from and was curious if there would be a big differnece?

I used to have a PM AGOT (pale skin, red hair, blue eyes) and she was VERY pale. You could hardly see a difference between her skin color and her lip color. I haven't seen a Mattel AGOT, but I've heard the pale color to her was pretty rare (not sure if it was because she was a red-head or a PM!) Hope this helps.

The PM today girls have softer vinyl, features, and chubbier cheeks. The Mattel dolls have better face coloring IMO. I don't think that either one is better than the other, it just depends on personal preference.
