I sold a lot of books on eBay the week before Memorial Day. One eBay member purchased 5 of the books I had listed. The first auction ended nine days ago, and the most recent auctions ended seven days ago. I have sent the winner of the 5 books a minimum of three invoices for their books over the past week, and the winner still has not paid for the items. What should I do?

One of my winners did not answer to any of my emails, messages or invoices for a month.
A few days ago she or he just made a payment and no ONE single word!
You can wait a few days more and relist the books.

This is one of the first times that I had a winner who did not pay immediately. The thing is, I only accepted checks or money orders for the books' auctions, so maybe the check or money order is still in the mail, but I don't think it would take a week from Ohio. I've found out that not everyone mails payments right away, especially if they have to go out and buy a money order. Don't forget that we had a holiday weekend, which always slows things down.
I would send them an email saying that you've invoiced them, but still haven't heard back from them, on how they intend to pay, and when you can expect payment. Sometimes they just need their memory jogged! If you don't hear back in a couple of days, fine a non-paying bidder claim.
That usually gets their attention, FAST!

The problem has been resolved. It turns out there was a small family emergency.
