I'm not really the kind of person who plays with my dolls. They are more displayed. I love sewing them clothes and taking their pictures.
HOWEVER, I am going to a stamping retreat in Minnesota this weekend- my first time ever to go to Minnesota- and I feel as though I should bring Kirsten along. I got her in 1989 as my first doll, and it seems wrong to visit Minnesota without her- she's from there and has never even been there! Felicity went with me to Williamsburg, Kit lived with me in Ohio, and Molly got a front seat view as we traveled through Illinois.
So what do you think? I'm not sure how much free time I would have to "tour" with her, and I don't want to be known as the "crazy doll lady" but I think she should come.
What do you think?

I think you should take her. You could just put her in a bag, and if you decide you want to ger her out you can, and if not- just leave her there. But then you'll have her if you want her.

I think you should take her, and I agree that you could just bring her in a bag and take her out if you want. Maybe she could sit by a window in the room you stay in so she can look out into her "homeland"?

Oh definitely take Kirsten along and your camera too! It would be a shame if you did go out for some neat sightseeing and not have Kirsten there to share it.
Taking Kit & Holly to visit my Dad's a few weeks ago was so much fun. It was nice to have them in the car with DD and me--they were very quiet and well behaved passengers too!
Have a fun trip!
