We never spend change.We use bills only and at the end of the day we take all the change and put it in a bank.You would be suprised how fast it adds up.

write down everything that you purchase for a week. Go over the list to see what could have been purchased cheaper elsewhere and what you did not need. A six pack of soda is a lot cheaper in a supermarket than it is when each can is purchased individually at a convenience store.
