My daughter's Marisol has a scuff on her cheek, it doesn't seem to bother Mandy and since its her favorite doll and goes everywhere I'm sure there are more scuffs in her future. My question is do you think there is a time limit on when they would stop replacing heads? I know they are still replacing Lindseys, but surely they don't have an endless supply of them. I would love to wait a year or two then she'd be 9 and probably take a bit more care , she's not careless she just really plays and sleeps with Marisol all the time.

I think you'll be fine to wait a year or two. Lindsey was produced in 2001-2002 and there are still heads left for her so I think there should be heads for Marisol. They produced tons more Marisols so I hope they took that into consideration when saving heads and body parts for her.

I think you should be fine waiting. I just sent in my retired AGT 6 last month for a new head and she's been retired since 1997 and they still have replacement heads for her.

Have you tried a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the scuff mark? Just rub it lightly, so you won't be taking off any face paint; but Magic Erasers work wonders at cleaning up dolly "skin!"

A lot of time, baking soda will take care of doll marks.

You could call and ask, but I think you'll be fine for quite a while. If AG runs out -- they're AG! They can make more!
