Addy items in danger of retirement???

Getting rid of a girl's undies?That's not right!

I would get Addy's needlework kit and her songbird and sweets, not because I have any advance retirement info but because I tend to think of AG as getting rid of the smaller, more intricate items. Felicity, Kirsten and Sam all had needlework activities of various kinds (Kirsten's was weaving) and they're all gone. On clothes, I'd get all of Addy's remaining outfits except the African dance of today outfit, which I just don't like (seems phoney). Of course, I don't know how good my advice is because I never imagined AG would take away her undies.

I think the rumor may have started about Addie's undergarments since it was mentioned that you could no longer purchase her Pantalettes (part of her meet outfit) as a replacement item.

Well, I went and checked the AG website just now and Addy's Undies are showing sold out! I called CS and all she could tell me is they currently are not available and there is no backorder date. We went ahead and placed an order for them but no backorder date was provided so now I am just keeping my fingers crossed. Any chance someone saw them available at one of the stores? I wonder what the story is on them???

I was so disappointed to see that Addy's sled and gardening accessories were retired. Usually there is some type of warning, but I must have missed the boat. Now, I am reading that her undies will retire??? Can someone please fill me in on some other Addy items that may be in danger of retirement? I have just started collecting for Addy and would hate to miss anything on my wishlist! Thank you in advance! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I don't have any news for you, but I'm in the same boat. Addy only came to join us a month ago and I'm trying to get as much Addy stuff as I reasonably can right now. I just have a funny feeling about it all. I snagged her undies and also her apron/needlework set this weekend, because I could easily see the latter disappearing.

I'd say if you really like something of hers, don't hesitate. Things seem to be disappearing at an accelerated rate for poor lovely Addy.

For sure if you don't have her striped dress that is on clearance for 10.00, get it now. I would think they should be running out soon, and we know it is being retired.
