Hi all...
I am thinking of trying to make my own Homemade Kirsten out of a springfield doll. I really like Kirsten but she is very, very similar to my AGOT and I would like her to be special My Mom suggested it. Does anyone know of a long blonde wig with bangs(It doesn't have to be braided, I can do that) for a fairly good price? My biggest concern is that it won't be thick enough. If anybody knows of anything, Let me know.
Thanks!

Craft stores sometimes have wigs. Mine does, but I don't think they list the wig size, which doesn't make for an easy sale to me! Here are some sites for wigs. Part of the fun is just looking! Your best bet for variety from the below would be Kemper, Monique, or All About Dolls (the dotcom instead of biz site).

Oh, and before you start looking...be sure to measure your doll's head. Wigs don't come in all sizes, so it's good to know this first.

I've never had a problem with thinness of wigs...the wig I got for Bitty Baby is TOO thick! Just make sure you avoid any wig labeled "whispy." It's made to be thin, like a baby's hair. Some brands are better than others...my preference is Kemper since it normally has an adjustable Velcro strip.

Have fun, Elle!
