I have a Josifina question too.

My Josefina has "(circled)C AMERICAN GIRL, LLC" RAISED on the back of her neck. Is this normal? Because all of my other dolls have "(circled)C PLEASANT COMANY" IMPRINTED on their neck. Which is wrong?

American Girl started putting the American Girl LLC on the doll's necks last year. Some of them have American Girl LLC and some have Pleasant Company still because they haven't gotten rid of the stock of the PC dolls. I got Molly who has Pleasant Company on her neck adn Jess who has American Girl LLC. Both are authentic. [img]smile.gif[/img] I got both within the last year.

I think she was asking about the letters being raised, instead of engraved in.

I've never seen this, so I really have no comment, I have some dolls with "American Girl LLC" on their necks, but it's still engraved.

Did you get your Josefina direct from AG? If so, I wouldn't worry at all about authenticity, if not, I'm not sure what to say.

Can you post some pics? I'd be interested to see them (maybe it's a new thing they're doing?).
