I have it and most of the foods are not things that I eat but I like the historical aspect of it. I can post the recipes later if no one does it first.

It's my favorite of the cookbooks. I still make the Hoppin' John sometimes and I make the Corn Pudding every Thanksgiving and Christmas (and usually more than that).

Except for the fried fish, it all sounds wonderful.
Cheese Grits are one of our favorite dishes for Christmas breakfast.
Hard to beat Pork Sausage and Gravy over Buttermilk Biscuits, love that also.
Now I want the cookbook but major hard to come by. [img]frown.gif[/img]
