My New Molly

Okay, so this isn't so much about American Girls, but I had to share this.
My mom's neighbors are being foreclosed upon, and my mom and step-dad, along with another neighbor, have purchased their nine acres. The fellow (let's just say not my favorite person on the planet) abandoned his dogs there. along with a colony of feral, diseased cats. My step-dad is working with humane services on the cats, I am working on getting the Australian Shepherd into a rescue, and I brought home Molly. She is a purebred Dalmatian, sweet as can be, somewhere between 8-10 years old. She has spent nearly her entire life tied to a dog house. Yesterday was her first car ride since she was a pup, and these pictures may be the first ever taken of her.
She has a very different life here, and slept last night absolutely plastered to Chris, right in the middle of our king sized bed. We are not sure if we will keep her or look for an adoptive home; we are falling fast & hard though.

Ooooh! The best Molly of all! You are so sweet to rescue her, and she looks like she loves you already. Our dog is a rescue story, too, and she is half black lab and half dalmation. (She looks all black, but is shaped like a dalmation.) We just adore her and she loves the kids SOOOOOOO much!

What an angel dog! She looks so sweet and deserves a loving home like yours after being tied to a doghouse. I hate it when people have absolutely no regard for animals and how they are treated. Kudos to you for stepping in and rescuing all the animals!

She definately looks like a sweetie! I hope she can live out her life being loved like all dogs deserve to be. Hope you decide to keep her, sounds like she is bonding to you. We have a rescue dog and she is the best! It's almost like she appreciates everything we do for her, I know that sounds weird, but it's true.
