What a deal for $30.00!!
Congratulations!
WOW! You got an awesome deal. Lucky you!
Great deal! I'm sorry you didn't get there sooner, I wish you had but you sure got some nice stuff for $30. Another great Craigslist score!
That's a great deal! (I didn't think you overpaid for the clothes, myself, but that's just me. I figure if you get an outfit for the same price as it would be on eBay, you still come out ahead because you didn't have to pay shipping!)
Anyway, the whole lot of stuff was a very nice deal; congratulations!
Great deal for the whole lot! I've never seen an AG item at a garage sale, save for 1 bitty bag diaper bag.
Great deal! I love finding AG items at sales. It is so exciting. Too bad about the doll, but at least the other lady didn't grab the horse before you got there! - Meg
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thanks for letting me know about these bunk beds. I just checked them out and showed them to dd. She really likes them.......YIPPEE! You can't beat the price!Originally posted by tallpkb:
I know what you mean about the girls only wanting AG items. I tried to get my girls to give the okay for non-AG bunk beds (sears.com) has them for $25!), but no way! They ONLY want AG items!
I've always told her that I will NOT buy her Felicity or Elizabeths's beds because they are way to expensive and that if she wanted beds for her dolls they would have to be bunkbeds.
She really likes the new blue daybed in the AG catalog but when I added up the bed and bedding it was almost $100! YIKES! I can get another doll for that price! So I think I finally found a bed for her dolls that we both are happy with.
You definitely got a wonderful collection of items for an amazing price.
Congrats!!

WOW! You got a really TERRIFIC deal! Congratulations!
I found a listing for a garage sale w/AG dolls on craigslist.org, so I went. I got there about 10 minutes before their start time. There was already one lady carrying an old Kirsten doll looking over some AG clothes. I asked if there were more dolls (since the ad said American Girl DOLLS), and she said, no, that was the only one. One minute earlier, and she could've been mine! Oh well........then she said, "I have the horse over here". Penny!!! I asked how much they wanted for her. "Ten dollars". SOLD! Then she said, "Oh, and I have this, too". It was Felicity's nightstand. And it had a price tag of $3 on it! SOLD! Then, there were a few miscellaneous clothing items. I got Molly's raincoat, hat, boots and umbrella, the nightstand, and Penny, all for $30. I'm happy!! I know the clothes were overpriced, but Penny and the nightstand made up for it.
