An auction just ended where somebody bid over 30 dollars with $6.50 shipping for a mini Molly. Here.
I'm just curious as to why somebody would pay so much and if there's something I'm missing?

Perhaps they do not know that it is available elsewhere?
They might have gotten caught in the thrill of a bidding war.
They might have paypal funds available, but no other means of paying, so feel they have to use ebay?

Maybe they thought it was an 18" doll? Even though it says 6 inch in the description, they might not have noticed it.

If this is one of the original glass-eyed mini dolls (based on the height and her face, I believe she is) then she is not available any longer. The current mini dolls are closer to 8 inches tall (longer torso) and have painted eyes.
As always, I prefer the pre-Mattel version of AGs and that includes the minis. Someone else may feel the same way and think it's worth a little extra to get a mint glass-eyed Mini Molly.

Looks like painted eyes to me. I have the originals and they were different looking.
