ams37, aren't those sale prices fantastic? I would kill for Kit's rolltop desk and table and chairs at that price.
I konw members that go to the sale often have a hard time getting just what they want, much less anything else! I hope you find a member that wouldn't mind picking these up for you (I wouldn't mind one myself), but I think it will be hard.
I have read on this board before to wait until members offer to pick up thing, but I'm not so sure about that either, it seems like they would get flooded with PMs and requests.
Good luck finding a member to pick things up!

Since Molly's bike is now retired, many volunteers will take one this year. That means supplies will be more limited... and that normally translates into a limit of one per person. So I doubt anyone would be able to pick up two for you.
I see you are in IL... perhaps you should consider a pilgramage to the sale? People come from much*****her distances.

We originally were going to go, but my dd already has 16 dolls and most furniture. Spolied brat I have put myself on a spending diet so I couldn't justify the hotel for the bikes. I knew it might be a longshot but I thought I would just put it out there. It never hurts to ask.

That makes a lot of sense. You might want to start watching ebay the week before the sale. Once the volunteers shop... a ton of things suddenly hit ebay. Prices should drop dramatically for a month or so.

We might drive over to Wisconsin the weekend of the sale, I'll see if there are any bikes by the time we get there.

please let me know if you have any extra, I'm more than happy for people to make a nice profit, but I can't justify $100 for a bike (or can I?
