Do Bitty items really fit the big dolls?

Just wondering from looking at so many wonderful albums recently, do all of the Bitty items really fit the AG historical & today dolls? Do the shoes fit too? Any comments on ones that fit well versus don't fit at all? Looking forward to your replies :-)

Yes they fit, the shoes fit. The pants can sometimes be short- they just look like capris instead of long pants.

Yup. Some of the outfits look great on the big girls. For example, the Circus outfit looks exactly like 1950s era baby doll PJs on the AG size dolls. Waaaay cute.

I think the red and blue dress looks better on the Fiffy then on a bitty. Kailey has on a bitty outfit also.

Molly_girl, Thank you for all of those cute pictures. They are perfect proof that the Bitty outfits really do look terrific on the AG's too. Thanks also to everyone else who responded--what a great thing to know!

Each time a new Bitty outfit comes out, I consider whether my 18" dolls will need it or not. More often than not, they do. [img]wink.gif[/img] My favorite bitty-for-18" combo is the retired Chocolate Cherry Bitty outfit on a blond 18" AGT doll. My Elizabeth wore it last holiday season and she looked really cute in it.
