I don't get this. They already said it was called Molly: an American Girl Victoy in Imagine Magazine! Maybe the person who changed it is wrong.....

If that website is like Wikipedia where people can edit and change the information, the movie title is probably wrong. It would really surprise me if American Girl didn't even know the name of their own movie!

Whatever the movie is called, I was excited to read that the girls perform in a dance contest! I guess Maya Ritter knows how to tap dance!

It is actually quite common for movie titles to change during production. Sometimes a name is given to a movie that they don't have any intention of using, but it is used as a working title until they think of something better or maybe just to keep it under wraps. I imagine there are also times where they just change their minds or again, someone comes up with a better title. We just watched the movie "1941" and it had a working title that was something like "The Day that America was Invaded." (I don't remember the actual title, but that may be one of the reasons that the title was changed. Besides being lame, it just wasn't a memorable title.)
If it was up to me to name the Molly movie, I like the Victory name best.
