1st Boutique???

My SIL works in NYC, and takes the subway to Rockerfeller Center. She said that this morning there was a store with an American Girl sign in the mall under the building near the ice skating rink. It wasn't open, but she said there were maintenance people going in and out, and it looked like they were setting it up. Could this be the first boutique? WOuld they build one that close to AGNY? (Right across the street)

Sounds like it. When I went there last year (AGPNY) DH got to talking with one of the male servers and the waiter said he was working with the staff on the training for the new botique
