Poor Molly has been very unlovingly stashed underneath a pile of stuff for the last few months. Yesterday I realized she was face down on my bureau. When I picked her up I found an unsightly spot on the tip of her nose! I don't know if it's from pressing against the bureau or if my 2 year old got a mrk on her last time I let her touch my doll (which is a rare occurrence!).
I tried baking soda but that did nothing. Please please please does anyone have any suggestions? Molly is more special to me than any of my other dolls and I HATE to think of her having to live the rest of her life in this dreadful condition!

Looks like dye transfer from whatever was on top her her. The OXY-10 treatment should fix her right up.

Have you tried the Magic Eraser? That would be my suggestion. Good luck, I hope she's better soon!

A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? I have those, I can try that...
I'm not a member at that other board so it won't let me see the post about the OXY-10 treatment: (

The Oxy-10 is very simple. Using the product, even a store brand, put a glob on top of the spot.
I then put my dolls under a lamp, like a desk lamp or piano lamp, that I can adjust close to the spot. Some people put the dolls out in the sun, but you have to be careful to cover the rest of their body, so it doesn't fade. In either case, the heat makes the treatment work faster.
Leave on for a few hours, clean off, and if the spot is still there, repeat treatment.
Be careful not to get any on the cloth body.
It will bleach it out. I know from experience.
