I am trying to remove a wig from an AG and I want to keep the wig for another doll but, this sucker is on TIGHT!
I looked in the sticky but, it doesn't really say what to do to get it started coming off! I have the doll in the car right now hoping that the heat will help the glue soften up somewhat.
Any more suggestions????
Thanks!

I think you are smart to warm up the doll's head. Sometimes a hot hairdryer can loosen the old wig's glue. Try the back of the wig first, instead of the front/top of it. I think it's easier to get it from the back. I like using a spoon, because it helps get underneath the wig.

The spoon trick works really well, especially if you have a baby food spoon. I found that worked the best when I re-wigged my Battat doll a couple years ago. You can also put some alcohol on a Q-tip and rub that over the glue, that will help to loosen it without risking any damage to the wig.
