New Doll heads questions?

Hypothetically speaking... say I needed to replace a retired dolls head... say Kailey.... because something happened.... kid sister cut off all her hair. Does pleasent company do replacement heads for retired dolls?

The above really is a hypothetical question, none of it happened. All my dolls are happy, healthy and mutation free.

Yes, they do. They have a certain amount set aside for the doll hospital. But I'm sure they run out after a while because they aren't producing more.

They will replace the head for the $35 fee. If the doll has silver eye, they will replace the head for free, but whether the doll, will get another older head depends. I called AG last summer to ask about a head replacement for my Lindsey and at the time they would replace the head at my expense.

Mapleleaf, they actually have a number of heads that are pre-mattel for replacement? I just figured that by now they would have all run out. This really concerns me because I have a Felicity from 1993 (not sure if she is from Germany or China tho) and it has bothered me that if anything happens I would have to have a mattel head. I like the differant hair but I dont like the mattel green eyes.
