Sigh...
I love pictures of AGs and everyone here has such nice photos, but we have had a loading time problem and a scrolling time problem with really big pictures and many lines of text in signatures. The moderating team has tried to enforce the signature length guidelines as spelled out in the sticky, but there are so many people with really big pictures and a lot of text. Do we even care anymore how big everyone's signature is? Please weigh in.

I think mine is okay but sometimes it still seems to come out long with everything else.

This is a good size picture for a signature:

AGsummerpics015

This picture is too big for a signature:
carly12 27 04064

Some variation is OK, but be reasonable. Also, if your picture is on the big side, make sure you don't have too much text.

Remember - You can post your beautiful and big pictures is a single thread relating to the pictures. Just don't put the really big ones in your signature which shows up every time you post on a single page. I hope that makes sense.

I tried to shrink mine some more, but photobucket won't make it any smaller, and I don't know any other way to do it--(sigh)--sorry...

I care - I don't think huge signatures are necessary and I think the guidelines are fair and easy to comply with. I think when you have cable or DSL, it's easy to forget how slow dial-up can be. But when I had bad internet, mine would often blink out and disconnect or time out when loading long topics.

Hi!

I seem to only be able to shrink my signature pictures down to this size (see below) from photobucket. I think it is still within the guidelines but if not please just PM me or tell me here.

Is it possible in photobucket to do a "custom resizing" for example 65% instead of 50% shrinkage? If someone knows how to do this I'd be more than glad to try it.

Also, I hate to say this & please don't get mad, but I love seeing people's larger pictures here only because everyone has such amazingly lovely photos of their dolls & families to share. I never tire of admiring others pictures and it really inspires me to take pictures of our dolls here at home.
