Limited Edition Historical Outfits?

There are several (retired) outfits that I am soooooo hoping the "NWOT" sellers end up getting someday. They keep adding more, so hopefully soon they will be able to carry some of the really coveted (and expensive) outfits so we can all afford them.

Do any of you have this coat tagged? If so, I'd be willing to send the "untagged" version to you, once I get it, in an attempt to answer the "quality control" questions.

I have this outfit, and I would be happy to do a comparison of the coats. I am really curious about this because buying "NWOT" is a great way to get some of the retired outfits. Lots of people are able to get Lindsey's Meet Outfit and the retired Skateboard Outfit (incomplete, though) lately because of this new availability.

I have the coat from the Christmas it was released. I'm not sure if it is tagged. I would have to look and see.

Hi: I have the coat (they were tagged) and I saw the picture of the one you purchased. It is the American Girl version. The "buttons" are the right shape (the copies I've seen have round buttons) and the strips go the right way, not just straight across - also it looks like the thicker fabric AG used and not the thin fabric of the copy. I think you did a great job finding it. If you get a change to get the skates make sure you see a side picture of them as they have a heart cut in the blades.

I have the coat, and I really like it. The fabric is a thick wool.

Even if this isn't 100% the same as the original, I think it's still neat because you got something that looks so close without having to pay a ton of money. I would do that in a heartbeat for Felicity's TownFair outfit or Molly's Tennis Outfit.
