Has anyone made an Anne of Green gables doll? I'd love to see pictures. Thanks!

Which Ag do you think would make the best Anne?? I dont know if I could be brave enough to do the freckles though.

I know that at least 1 of you have made an Anne doll. Does anyone have pictures???

Isn't there a retired AGT with red hair and grey eyes? That's the one I would do! Alternately, I think Emily would be good, with her red hair and blue eyes. Anne didn't have a fringe until she lived at Windy Poplars, I don't think, so Emily would probably be more accurate with the hair. And Anne didn't have green eyes at all, so I think Felicity's neon ones might be a bit disconcerting!

I did Anne a few months ago. I used an Old Molly that needed some TLC. Anne's Eyes are grey/green so she has the right eye color. I re-wigged her with a carrot red wig from one of the on-line stores the wig is called Marie (I think and can check)

I used Addy's Work Dress and boots and Kirstens Carpet Bag. I made her straw hat from a hat at AC Moores. She is in my Avatar and the freckles were REALLY Easy

Thanks - I am LOL because DD has now made her into a modern girl - SIGH, but she is DD favorite

I can't rember exactly, but I am pretty sure the name of the wig style was Marie - Size 11/12 a little big, but I made it work. I can see if I still have the freckle paint, but I am not sure I will see if I can find my notes. She was really EASY to do once I got past my nerves

Felinadoon, your Anne is so adorable. I believe that jrtmom, Heather, also made an Anne doll. I wish I had the nerve to do freckles.

This is the wig I got and from the place I ordered it.

For the freckles I used two different shades of brown, I can't find the bottle, but I used acrylic paint and then paint brushes with various sized points - Toothpicks work well too!
