Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can get some nice mini books for my dolls? I love the ones I've gotten so far from AG, and I know I can order the Nighttime Neccessities books as replacement parts. I am trying to find more options by using google or ebay, but not really getting anywhere. Anybody have some site (or store) where they've found some neat stuff?

I have some cute little wooden books I got years ago. Some of them are painted, but I haven't gotten to the rest of them finished yet. They are for display only, but they are so cute. I think I got them at a craft sotre, probably Jo-Ann's, or maybe Wal-Mart.

I bought the first three books in the DelPrado collection. They are too $$$ beyond the first few books, but they are so cute!

There is also a page with some printable mini magazines and newspapers, but I don't remember the link. I know someone posted about it within the last couple of days.

Ditt on the mini books - I wish AG had done more! The old math book is really detailed; I love that (being a math major myself long ago).

I wish they sold the mini books that went with the mini dolls separately as replacement parts - I asked, and they don't.

    What a great question!

My "The Ransom of Red Chief" book (featured in Kirsten's restringing adventure) was published by Running Press, and I looked them up and they are still making books. Look up "Running Press Miniature" and you'll find quite a few books (39 right now). You can also Google them or I can PM the link to their website (they have some nifty items, even a miniature flower press!). Not every page outside the miniature section is HB friendly so I won't post the link here.

(Also PMing you an eBay find; probably not what you're looking for, but I'd like it myself and shouldn't be spending the money, so I thought I'd share. )

I make them myself. Last year my Susanna sent Sakurako's Gina a "first edition" copy of The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew. I found a picture of the first edition cover online on ebay and then scanned in some pages from my own copy and then shrunk them to the appropriate size. I used glue to "bind" the book. For Christmas, my girls sent Cherry's girls some blank Japanese books that I made from rice paper scraps and plain white paper. I sewed those together and they came out great! My girls also sent a copy of one of mine and Kirsten's favorite stories- The Tomten. I goofed on that one and had to do each page separately instead of two pages on one folded sheet. That didn't come out so nice. I plan to make Sam a librray of all my favorite Victorian childrens' books.
